The Challenge
Duffy Kekel wanted to modernize its website while maintaining its brand as a law firm that has served Oregon and Washington since 1930. They wanted to focus on the personal client service and tailored legal advice their attorneys provide. Their collaborative and progressive approach to estate planning, probate administration, and other taxation specialties has built a large and loyal client base. It was essential to maintain the look and feel of the firm's original website. While they are a small team, Duffy Kekel attracts top talent, and they have one of the highest concentrations of tax expertise in the region. They needed to be able to add new attorneys or services to their website easily.

DuffyKekel.com is a modern, responsive marketing website that highlights Duffy Kekel's rich history. Their story unfolds in a clean easy-to-use website that includes the history of the firm and attorneys with diverse practice areas and backgrounds. The site is optimized for SEO and features important information prospective clients can use when deciding whether or not to engage the firm. The WordPress CMS was designed for easy editing using custom fields and UI/UX design best practices. DuffyKekel.com is a great marketing tool that should bring additional value to the growing firm.

Our Approach
We first modernized Duffy Kekel's existing brand identity, making sure it reflected their reputation as a longstanding and trusted law firm. We were careful to preserve the feel of the original brand to be recognizable to Duffy Kekel's long-standing client base. Next, we created wireframes to capture how information should flow across DuffyKekel.com. For visual design, we used images of the Pacific Northwest and cool blue tones to reflect their status as a top-tier law firm in the region. We used updated images and fonts, we then built the website using WordPress to ensure simple upkeep and management.
